On the programme of the Gravel cycling trip
Discover the Gravel routes of the Girona region of Spain, in the heart of Catalonia.
Away from all traffic, as close as possible to nature, have fun cycling on the paths of Catalonia, places popular with professional cyclists for its climate and landscapes.
3-day course with the discovery of mythical places by the undergrowth and tracks around Girona, Besalù, Banyoles, Rocacorba,…
Enjoy a unique experience with the support and organisation of the Ruffaut Cycling System and the charming accommodation of Rocacorba Cycling, Can Campolier.
DAY 1
60km / 781m D+
An exit to the north of Banyoles, in the direction of Pla de Martis, before returning via the Banyoles lake (visited during the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992)
DAY 2
98km / 2250m D+
A start towards Mieres for this day with a demanding course but with magnificent views.
We will climb the famous Rocacorba hill by a path to the sanctuary.
During this outing we will also visit the pretty city of Girona and we will take the time to take a break in one of its cafes for mythical cyclists like La Fabrica.
DAY 3
76km / 1500m D+
We head east of Banyoles for this third day, on a hilly route, where we pass through the beautiful village of Cervià de Ter and Saint Esteve de Guialbes.
A team that takes care of you during the gravel course
A professional coaching, with two coaches on the bike to guide you through the rides.
Pierre and Loïc will also be there to give you advice on and off the bike.
During your gravel days, a supply vehicle and assistance will be present to help you out and give you the energy you need.
All you have to do is pedal and enjoy !
